Mark Sands, PE

Mark has been employed in the commercial building industry for 30 years. In 1999 he formed The Genesis Building Company, with a particular interest in helping with breakthrough improvements in the planning, design, engineering and construction of today’s construction projects. Mark and his wife Carol, of 25 years reside in Belmont, Michigan and have four daughters; Alicia 24 studying in Italy, Laurel 22 a senior at Calvin College, Amanda 20 a sophomore at Grand Valley State University, and Holly 17 a senior at Rockford High School. The Sands’ are members of Blythefield Hills Baptist Church, where Mark serves on the board and is the church's treasurer. Mark is also on the board of Partners in Compassionate Care www.pccsudan.org, a non-profit organization that is building a new hospital and providing community health needs in Sudan, Africa. Carol is active in Genesis and servers as a leader in Bible Study Fellowship.
